About meHello everybody :)
I love books, technology, music, films, fandom and writing. My stamping ground is a cross between a library, art gallery and a big mess. I love making new friends anywhere online and in RL so feel free to add me.
I read 192 books in 2008.
I challenged myself to read 200 books in 2009 and am slowly doing so :) My regularly updated list of my progress is here http://www.librarything.com/topic/56613. Feel free to join my 200 books in 2009 challenge group.
About my libraryEverything - there is an emphasis on fiction because of my illness, though. I need escapism more often than not. It's what books are for - I love how there are books and music and films for every mood and every occasion, there will always be something for everyone. I think that's awesome :) I'm a big fan of children's fiction, especially that centred around boarding schools, horses and ballet.
Please get in touch if you're interested in buying or swapping any of them :) The tag 'NMO' means 'not my own' so I've either sold on these books or borrowed them originally. All the other books are owned by me, so if you are in the UK feel free to make friends with me and borrow some :) As far as I can see all the other tags are fairly self-evident. I even retag things sometimes.

The Track of the sun
across the Sky
leaves its shining message,
Illuminating,
Strengthening,
Warming,
us who are here,
showing us we are not alone,
we are yet ALIVE!
And this fire......
Our fire.....
Shall not die

Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry, I didn't notice it until now with the flood of Early Reviewers posts and what-not.
I see you read 192 books in 2008, wow! I only got 143. I am trying for 150 this year...what's your goal? I wish I had more time to read!
Talk to you soon,
Lily

I'm intrigued by the apparent lack of pattern in the books we share - it suggests we might have more in common than appears at first glance.

I really am a readaholic! About 1/2way through 2008, I began to write at least a short review of every book I read. This coming year, I intend to keep going. I'm having so much fun with it. If you're on goodreads, I'm jjmachshev there too. I enjoy the social aspect of GR and the site ease of LT!

I'm not a CBB member myself, though my mum (coastwalker), who shares custody of our vintage books, is. I'm very envious of the range of your collection, particularly the ballet books.
